Hi, I’m Rosie and I’m 11.
I started making Pocket Buddies after I got some clay for Christmas. I made one just for fun – and then I couldn’t stop! I liked how small they were, and how they felt a bit like special little rocks you could keep in your pocket.
Each one has a tiny face, and somehow that makes them feel like they’re really there for you. When I carry one with me, it helps me feel calm and safe. If I’m ever feeling a bit sad or anxious, just holding one makes me feel better.
I began making them for myself and then for my friends at school. Pretty soon, lots of people were asking for their own Pocket Buddy! It makes me so happy to know other people love them as much as I do.
They're really fun to collect – each one is handmade to order, so even if you choose a certain style, no two are ever exactly the same. That means every Pocket Buddy is totally unique – just like the person who gets it! I love the idea of people building their own little PocketBuddies world.
